About
The woman behind the lens

My Story
I didn't choose photography — it chose me, on a rainy afternoon in Marseille when I was seventeen.
There was a couple under a shared umbrella, and the way the light caught them — half in shadow, half in gold — I knew I had to capture it. That urgency has never left me. Twelve years later, I still chase that same feeling: the electric moment when reality becomes something more.
I studied fine art at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris before assisting some of Europe's most celebrated editorial photographers. Those years taught me that technical mastery means nothing without emotional truth. A perfectly exposed image that says nothing is just a pretty lie.
My approach is quiet. I observe before I shoot. I wait for the pause between breaths, the unguarded glance, the stillness after laughter. These are the moments that deserve to live forever, and I treat them with the reverence they demand.
When I'm not behind a camera, I'm foraging for wild herbs in the Luberon, reading Marguerite Duras, or teaching my daughter to see light the way I do — as something alive, shifting, full of secrets.
